SAFETY

Sometimes freephone numbers are shown on telephone bills. If you do not want anyone to know your have contacted the Information line –use a Public Call Box to make the call.

If something or someone scares and frightens you at home then find an adult who you feel happy to talk to. It might be your teacher, somebody from your local youth club or a neighbour who you feel you can trust. Pick a time when you know they will be free to sit and listen to you and tell them about any worries or problems you have.

If abuse is happening in your family you may be feeling confused, worried, lonely, afraid. Its important that you tell somebody about what is troubling you.
